We both own one.
My wife needed one for her school. After carrying a heavy laptop I had bought for her before the netbook decision, she complained to me of her shoulder and arm hurting carrying it around from home to school and from class to class. In addition to carrying her books and purse. Not just that but battery life on the laptop is horrible.
She eventually stopped taking it. This is when we decided to get her a netbook and was probably the best decision for her solution. The battery life literally lasted all day without a charge. She never had to carry around a charger. The weight of the netbook was perfect probably even lighter than one of her books. She didn’t have to always carry an additional carrying case as she did with her laptop. She could just stick it in her purse. Plus sitting in school she was able to easily connect to a wi-fi signal to check email and sends files quick. I eventually got my own after seeing how portable it was.
That’s our story.
Before purchasing our first netbook I did my own research and read a lot about netbooks and which ones were the best.
