My name is Elias and I too was like you in search of a netbook computer to buy. I decided to purchase one a few months ago as a second computer for it’s portability, lightweightness and long battery life ( I dislike wires). From my own personal research when buying my own netbook I found out that there are 3 types of people wanting to buy a netbook. Which do you fall into?

Netbooks are perfect for these types of people. I fell into #2 and #3. I have a laptop however it’s to bulky. With a netbook, it being so extremely light-weight I could literally take it with me everywhere while working from it.

Netbooks generally run on average of around $300. Again that’s average while some are a little higher and better quality and some are lower but at a more cheaper quality not worth it.
2. You want a netbook that can accomplish basic computer task.
Such as going online and check email, check your banking, browse the web, watch YouTube videos, check Facebook, get on Twitter, watch Hulu videos, type up reports for school, use Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, type spreadsheets and notes, download music, listen to music….basic task are what I’m getting at.
3. You want one for school.
For typing reports in Microsoft Office, taking notes in class, checking email, downloading and checking school assignments and/or internet research for projects.
